I am Jonathan, a London-based funeral celebrant dedicated to the art of the "Service of Farewell."

My role is to help you navigate one of life’s most difficult moments with grace, dignity, and a focus on the person you love.

My journey to this vocation began in 2014. After 25 years in the music industry—a career that allowed me the privilege of working with people from every imaginable background and faith—a close friend suggested that my resonant voice, natural empathy and a calm, adaptable manner would be well-suited to celebrancy. She was right; I found not just a new career, but a true calling.

In the eleven years since, I have been honoured to officiate over 2,500 services. This experience has honed my ability to listen deeply and craft ceremonies that are as unique as the lives they celebrate or honour.

My dedication to this work is personal. Having lost my mother and two siblings in recent years, I understand the profound nature of grief. This lived experience fuels my commitment to every family I serve. I am here to listen, to guide, and to help you find authenticity and the right words when they are hardest to find..
